NAB Says Hotel Demand High

The NAB issued a statement this week saying its reserved room block for preferred hotels at NAB2005 “is now booked at 98% capacity.”
“We are experiencing a high demand for hotel rooms, and are advising people to book now if they want to receive the best rates at preferred hotels in the NAB room block,” stated Chris Brown of NAB senior vice president, conventions & expositions. “Those who do not book soon through the NAB room block may end up paying higher rates at less desirable hotels.”
The association expects “upwards of 100,000” attendees and 1,400 exhibitors.
