NAB Show Attendance: 98,015

NAB says turnout is up about 4%

The spring NAB Show has attracted about 4% more people than last year.

The National Association of Broadcasters released preliminary figures for the convention here in Las Vegas, which continues to Thursday. It estimates total registered attendees at 98,015. That compares to last year’s adjusted final attendance of 93,850. About 26% of attendance is international.

NAB Executive Vice President of Communications Dennis Wharton said the association is “elated” with turnout.

The organization said exhibit space was up about 7 percent from the previous year, with 1,746 companies.
