NAB Sneak Peek: Glensound Goes for Dante

Express Box and others get Dante-compatibility

Glensound has announced that it is bringing Dante versions of three of its most popular products to the NAB Show. The company said that it was responding to increasing queries about Dante-compatible equipment.

The Express ip (pictured) is an Express Box desktop commentary unit with Dante-compatibility built in. The Express ip version will also offer power over Ethernet. It is designed for two users

The GS-FW012 ip is the Dante version of the GS-FW012 four-circuit/four-wire intercom/IFB box. It too offers PoE in the Dante version.

The portable beltpack Vita is another audio interface/commentary unit though it natively uses Dante. It also offers 48 V phantom power along with mic (12 V) or line in its XLR input. It has a 1/4-inch headphone output and level meters. Vita can be powered by its network connection.
