Something new for the NAB Show in April will be the StartUp Loft in the South Hall lobby.
The StartUp Loft is aimed at companies that did not have a “commercially available product or service prior to Jan. 1, 2011.”
NAB Executive Vice President for NAB Conventions and Business Operations Chris Brown stated in the announcement that such startups need a different show experience than established companies do.
“We think attendees will draw inspiration and ideas from these creative new ventures, as well as give them their business.”
Space, NAB said, will be limited. The association is accepting applications from Dec. 16 through Jan. 20, 2012.
The NAB Show is April 14–19, 2012 in Las Vegas.
