Station managers and owners trekking to Las Vegas for the spring show have an extra item on the menu to consider, a special session entitled “Digital Strategies Exchange for Radio.” It’s a cooperative project between NAB Technology and the Broadcast Management Conference.
Shorthanded as DSX4r, the day and half session starting on April 17, will, as a release describes, “provide an opportunity for radio broadcasters to learn from their peers and other industry experts on how these new technologies can impact their business. The workshop is intended to present maximum insight from early adopters on what (and what not) to do when exploring and implementing these new services.”
Listed as subject matter is everything from HD Radio to podcasts and video to social/mobile media apps along with Internet streaming and music services. There’s plenty more in between.
