The National Association of Radio and Telecommunication Engineers, has created a new international certification program for engineers in the product safety area. The program will be developed by NARTE and Eurolink Ltd, a certification and training company, and introduced at the 2001 International IEEE Symposium on EMC in Montreal, Canada.
There will be a “grandfather” period for the program that starts with the IEEE. Engineers who cannot participate in the grandfather part of the program can seek on-line training and certification programs at NARTE or www.eurolink.com.
