The National Association of Shortwave Broadcasters’ annual meeting is taking place at Radio Free Asia’s headquarters in the Dupont Circle area of Washington.

Activities kick off with remarks by DRM USA and RFA officials, and later by Dr. Kim Andrew Elliott, an audience research specialist at IBB, who is giving a presentation on “Audience Research Data on Shortwave Listening.”

Speakers will include Adil Mina of Continental Electronics and the DRM Consortium Steering Board, and Charles Jacobson from the HCJB Global Technology Center in Indiana.

Friday will feature more discussions on the state of shortwave broadcast, hosting guests like Voice of America correspondent Dan Robinson and Dr. Adrian Peterson, international relations coordinator for Adventist World Radio.

The Federal Communications Commission and World Radiocommunications Conference will give updates on current events.

The conference will end with the official NASB Business Meeting.
