The National Association of Tower Erectors has named Todd Schlekeway as its executive director. He succeeds Patrick Howey, who resigned last year.
While Schlekeway comes from outside the industry, he has political, media and public policy experience. He previously worked at Full Court Strategies Group, a public relations firm that he founded. He has also served in the South Dakota State House and State Senate.
NATE Chairman Jim Coleman said, “We are excited about Todd’s commitment and enthusiasm for our mission of providing a unified voice for safety, standards and education for tower erection, service and maintenance companies. His expertise comes at an essential time as we continue to advance NATE’s mission of safety and pledge continued focus to reduce risk in every project of which we engage.”
