SBE credits available to viewers

HACKETT’S COVE, Nova Scotia — Transmitter maker Nautel will continue its webinar series into January 2019.

Starting Jan. 23, noon EST, “What to Do When Your STL Feed Goes Down,” will feature Nautel’s Chuck Kelly and friends will cover “options — both traditional and creative — for keeping content on the air when an STL feed fails.”

The following week on Jan. 30, Kelly will be joined by Dave Kolesar of Hubbard’s experimental digital station WWFD(AM), Ruxandra Obreja of the DRM Consortium, Joshua King of Kintronics and fellow Nautelian Philipp Schmid for “All Digital AM in the Real World.”

The group will discuss considerations for putting an all-digital AM signal on the air and observations drawn from real-world transmission including WWFD’s year-long test.

A half-credit for SBE certification can be obtained by attending a webinar.
