Nautel said it has completed an expansion of its operations, increasing capacity by around 40%, the company said.
It cites increased market demand due to digital broadcasting technology projects for HD Radio and DRM transmission systems. President/CEO Peter Conlon said the company has focused on manufacturing capacity and enhancement of customer support; it now plans to add to its sales organization.
Nautel has manufacturing operations in Maine and Nova Scotia. In addition to AM and FM transmitters, it makes navigational radio beacons, Differential Global Positioning System transmitters, medium-frequency telegraph and NAVTEX transmitters and high-frequency amplifiers for dielectric heating applications.
