Nautel Is Recognized

Transmitter-maker reaps two business awards

Nova Scotia-based transmitter manufacturer Nautel has received two Canadian awards for business proficiency.

Canada’s Passion Capitalists is an award sponsored by several business consultancies and journalism entities, notably the Business News Network and the National Post.

For the award the group said, “Their passion capital has been demonstrated through their innovation in providing valuable new solutions for digital radio broadcasting and other applications, and long-term commitment to their customers.

The group describes the characteristics needed to be a winner of the award: “Passion Capitalists are guided by a strong set of values and beliefs that form the basis of a distinctive culture that fuels their performance. They are courageous; often having to overcome significant obstacles. They build strong brands anchored by their culture, which guide their strategies, the people they hire and promote, and the way they operate.”

Nautel was also recognized as one of the fastest growing companies in the Atlantic region of Canada by Progress Magazine, a Canadian business publication.
