On the last day of the NAB Show, Nautel Ltd. and Circuit Research Labs Inc. unveiled an agreement.
Nautel will license Orban’s audio processing algorithms and develop embedded solutions for implementation in its transmitters.
The first box to support embedded audio processing will be the Nautel NV40 44 kW solid-state FM transmitter. The all-digital embedded audio processor consists of a daughter card that plugs into the FM exciter.
“Now customers can choose to implement their audio processing either internally or separately depending on their own specific requirements and preferences,” CRL President, CEO and Chairman Jay Brentlinger said.
