Nova Scotia-based transmitter manufacturer Nautel recently announced a series of sales force changes worldwide.
Veteran Jorgen B. Jensen left the company to join Murd General Trading in Sharjah, United Arab Emirates. Headed by Dawod Mohamed Abdullah Jadeed, Mohamed el Mubarak Hassan and Jensen, Murd will represent Nautel in 25 countries across the Middle East and North Africa. The company is currently executing several AM and FM projects in Sudan and the UAE.
New appointment Gerardo Vargas will be responsible for the Latin America and Caribbean region, operating out of Miami, Florida.
After 30 years in various roles at Nautel, Wendell Lonergan will take on sales in Europe, the Middle East and Northern Africa.
For the Asia-Pacific and Southern Africa regions, Nautel tapped Chuck Kelly, while Gary Manteuffel, Jeff Welton and Gary Liebisch will handle Nautel sales in the United States and Canada.
