Happy Nautellians surround the Trumpf TruPunch, part of the upgrades at Nautel’s Bangor, Maine facility. Transmitter manufacturer Nautel announced an upgrading of its Bangor, Maine manufacturing facility.
The facility, in operation since 1975, is the recipient of Trumpf TruPunch 3000 metal punch and a 90-ton eight-axis press brake, according to a release.
Also according to a release Nautel manufactures NV, NX, XR and J1000 transmitters along NOAA weather radio transmitters and navigational beacons. Nautel President and CEO Peter Conlon said, “The Bangor facility provides a significant portion of Nautel’s overall manufacturing.”
A formal ribbon cutting was held.
