Transmitter maker Nautel has scheduled two webinars in October.

The first, “AM Power Saving Techniques,” will examine recent FCC moves allowing AM stations to experiment with energy-saving transmission techniques such as Modulation-Dependent Carrier Level control technology. Nautel Director of Sales Chuck Kelly and Nautel head of Engineering Tim Hardy will explain how Nautel transmitters can utilize such technologies.

It is scheduled for Oct. 19, starting at noon Eastern.

Webinar number two is “Breakthrough Functionality for NX Transmitters,” on Oct. 26, also at noon.

Host Chuck Kelly and guest David Dumke, a Nautel research engineer, will look at the company’s Advanced User Interface and recent updates to it and how those affect Nautel’s NX family of transmitters.
