Needles to Host ‘Top Twenty Latin Urban Countdown’

Westwood One has launched “The Top Twenty Latin Urban Countdown.” The program is in partnership with Latino Broadcasting Co.
Frankie Needles will host the weekly, two-hour music countdown show that includes reggaeton, hip-hop, R&B and reggae music. It will be produced by LBC and affiliated by Westwood One. The program will be carried on WSKQ(FM) New York, KXOL(FM) Los Angeles, WXDJ(FM) Miami and WYUU(FM) Tampa.
Max Krasny of Westwood One called Needles “a major force in the Latin music scene.”
In the announcement, Needles said he hoped to reach “millions of young Latinos out there who, like me, grew up without a reflection of themselves or their lifestyle anywhere on national radio or TV.”
