Kathmandu, Nepal-based Hits FM 91.2 recently unveiled its modernized studio, which features a new Lawo crystal radio broadcast console. This, says Lawo, marks the first placement of one of its system in Nepal.
The German firm explains that the national commercial station, which began broadcasting in 1996, required technology able to offer efficiency and flexibility and integrate well into its modern workflows.

The mixing system was delivered with pre-configured settings. Through consultation with Tan, station staff modified and fine-tuned the system, demonstrating, adds Lawo, crystal with VisTool’s adaptability and ease of configuration.
crystal features Ravenna/AES67 compatibility. The latest generation of crystal mixing consoles comes with VisTool touchscreen-optimized PC software for extended visualization and control of crystal installations.
