Net Radio Listening Quadrupled in 2001

UPDATE:

MeasureCast Inc. reports that Internet radio listening increased nine percent in the week of Dec. 10-16, to a point that is four times the audience size of one year ago.
JazzFM once again gained the top spot in the week, a place it has often held in the past year. Its frequent closest competitor, Virgin Radio’s hot adult contemporary station placed second. KING(FM) placed third, streaming 145,291 hours.
Cablemusic’s two Christmas-music channels streamed 165,511 hours for the week.
MeasureCast reports that 20 of the top 25 stations streamed more hours in the Dec. 10-16 week than they did the week before.
