Netia Appoints Two for Middle East and Africa

Adel Hamla and Abderrahmane Bessaih will help build company’s presence in region

Netia has announced that it is expanding its presence in the Middle East and Africa region with the appointment of two new positions.

Adel Hamla will take over as Netia’s sales manager for the MEA region, and Abderrahmane Bessaih has been brought on to oversee business development in the area.

Hamla joins Netia from the Orange Group, which he began working for in 2009 as a sales representative specializing in IP and integration. He later became a sales engineer with a specialization in communications solutions with the group.

Bessaih previously held a position with Netia in international operations, but most recently he served as the founder and managing director of BroadcastVision, which studies and analyzes customer needs, then helps select technology to meet those requirements.

Bessaih also has experience with business development roles in the MEA region with Newtec and Level 3 Communications, says Netia.

Both Hamla and Besaih will report to Jérémie Mekaelian, Netia’s head of international sales.
