Netia will be present at CABSAT 2014, which takes place March 11–13 in Dubai, with Radio-Assist 8.2, the latest version of its Radio-Assist range of digital audio automation software.
In addition to its traditional array of features, Radio-Assist 8.2 allows users the possibility to leverage built-in music-scheduling functionality. According to the company, with music management tools integrated into Radio-Assist 8.2’s FederAll playlist preparation module, users are able to automate playlist generation according to preset criteria, business policies, and a wide range of options for sequencing music. The company will also display further functional and technical enhancements to Radio-Assist 8.2 for radio broadcast operations.
In addition to Radio-Assist 8.2, Netia — present on booth E2-20 — will showcase the iSnippet audio editing tool for iPhone and iPad as well as the teleprompter module for the Radio-Assist suite, which gives presenters and journalists visual access to news scripts that scroll continuously down the presenter’s screen and are linked to the playout system in the studio.
