Netia has released a podcasting module for its Radio-Assist digital audio content management software. It is an extension for the Dispatcher automatic converter software and permits broadcasters to publish podcasts from media assets within the Radio-Assist content database.
The company says broadcasters using Radio-Assist can implement the module easily. After installing a dedicated PC within their Radio-Assist networks, users are ready to begin publishing podcasts.
“The Radio-Assist podcasting module gives broadcasters the tool they need to make content and updates automatically available to listeners on their digital media players,” said Xavier de Vynck, VP of business development for Netia.
The Radio-Assist line of software programs handles radio station operations including ingest, sound file editing, commercial and music production, newsroom systems, scheduling and multicasting.
