Netia says Jordanian FM station Sawt al Madena Radio received the Digital Studio Industry Leadership Award for best radio installation during CABSAT, the Middle East’s largest cable and satellite exhibition.
The station used Netia’s Radio-Assist-DDO digital audio software to take its broadcasts live in February 2006, dedicating four workstations to scheduling and ingest, and two others for news capture from live satellite feeds. The system also is customized with an Arabic-language interface and provides playout functions.
