Neumann announced an endorsement partnership with voice talent Joan Baker.
Baker was recently profiled by Christopher Springmann in Radio World. That story is credited in part with bringing Baker and Neumann together.
The microphone manufacturer cited her work as a voice in hundreds of programs, promos and commercials in TV, film and radio. Her clients include ABC News, American Express, and ESPN. Baker built her own vocal booth using a Neumann U 87.
She is also an educator and the author of voiceover book “Secrets of Voice-Over Success.” The second edition of that book comes out this month.
Neumann’s Christopher Currier said in the announcement, “Neumann has always been an integral part of the voiceover industry and, now for the first time, we’re taking that relationship to a new level with the endorsement of Joan Baker.”
