The “FM Atlas” is out in its 20th edition.
The 264-page book, produced by Bruce Elving, dates to 1971, when Elving and his wife Carol first published it. The current edition includes station news, maps and directories arranged by geography and station frequency.
It covers the United States, Canada and Mexico, listing FM stations, translators and boosters; it lists powers, heights and coverage radii. Low-power stations are shown. The book includes program formats, slogans, stereo information and subcarrier formats.
