ASCAP and YES Networks plan to announce a new air monitoring venture Tuesday called Mediaguide. Content for more than 80 stations is being tracked now through the new technology, which enables ASCAP and other content tracking in real-time with no previous encoding to the station’s signal needed, according to the product developers. Mediaguide principals say advertising can be tracked as well with the automated electronic media monitoring system.
