A new award will recognize the best college-produced radio commercials with a $2,500 donation to the winning school. The organizers of the Radio-Mercury Awards have introduced a College Award to be given each year during the competition.
Its goal: “to expand awareness about radio creative to the college community and encourage the effective use of radio creative to reach and motivate consumers.”
The College Award is open to colleges and universities. Individual students are not eligible. English and Spanish-language entries may be submitted; there is a $30 fee per commercial entry. The annual Radio-Mercury Awards are for excellence in radio commercials and include a $100,000 grand prize. Info: www.radiomercuryawards.com.
