New Hampshire AM Goes Dark

The land was worth more than the station.
Where have we heard that before?
Like many an AM before it, WSMN in Nashua, N.H., has gone dark, evicted after a legal dispute with the program operator, and shutting down with little fanfare. According to the Union Leader, it had broadcast for 47 years. The owners still say they’d like to sell the station. They had sold the land beneath the three-tower facility last year to a group that plans to build housing units.
