Although designed for on-air applications, the AEQ Arena console is adaptable to different working methods thanks to four new distinct modes.
The Normal mode is a traditional working mode that provides access to gain, dynamics, equalizers and filters, cue and fader adjustments in every channel of the control surface.
The Bus Send mode facilitates adjustment for those accustomed to using analog consoles, with direct access to four buses of output channels, configurable via Arena software.
The Channel Setup mode is designed for environments with multiple codecs or telephone hybrids connected to the console. Each input has an associated feedback channel, allowing for direct adjustment of phase and mono/stereo input mode with integrated talkback.
Finally, in Multiplex mode, the Arena incorporates, expands and adapts the functionality of the four-wire analog multiplex mixing consoles typically used for sports commentary applications.
Every input channel has a default associated output channel with integrated talkback. No routing is necessary, because the Arena directly generates the mix-minus for every defined multiplex group.
