New Radio Reading Programming Available

CGR Audio Information Service is based in Pacific Northwest

A new audio service that provides news, education, entertainment and local community programming for the visually impaired, disabled or senior citizens has launched.

Vancouver, Wash.-based CGR Audio Information Service is a radio reading service that includes cover-to-cover readings of magazines, newspapers, literature and books. Programming will be coming from sources like the National Federation of The Blind, American Council of The Blind, Washington Talking Book & Braille Library and The International Association of Audio Information Services as well as the Vancouver home studio.

CGR says it provides webcasts over the Internet, offering public service programming, announcements, community-supported programs and activities. Programming will also include old time radio from 1929–1962 and big band, swing and nostalgia formats.
