New Social Media Alliance Forms

Jacobs Media, Albright & O’Malley & Brenner combine expertise to help country format stations

Jacobs Media along with country format program consultants Albright & O’Malley & Brenner are partnering to help stations with social media.

Specifically, Jacobs Media will make its own social media strategist Lori Lewis available to country-formatted stations consulted by Albright & O’Malley & Brenner. Lewis has provided digital and social media strategies for Jacobs Media and jacAPPS for three years.

She will provide services for Albright & O’Malley & Brenner stations in markets that don’t compete with Jacobs Media clients, according to everyone involved.

Jacobs Media President Fred Jacobs says the arrangement makes sense. He characterizes Lewis as “the face of social media in radio,” and adds the deal will bring value to clients of Albright & O’Malley & Brenner.

Research shows country listeners are “extremely social,” says Becky Brenner, who, along with A&O&B Partner Mike O’Malley says the opportunity for our stations to be exposed to Lewis’ expertise is “immense.”
