The window to submit an entry for the 2016 New York Festivals International Radio Program Awards is now open. Receiving entries from 32 countries, the International Radio Program Awards honor the “world’s best radio programs.”
In addition, New York Festivals has announced that it is expanding the awards with three additional categories: Biography/Profiles; Climate Change & Sustainability; and Music.
The New York Festivals Radio Awards Grand Jury, which is made up of industry members from around the world, will judge entries on production values, organization, presentation of information, creativity, and use of the medium. All entrants are also considered for the United Nations Department of Public Information Award.
All entries for the 2016 New York Festivals International Radio Program Awards must be submitted by March 18.
The ceremony will take place on June 20 at the Manhattan Penthouse in New York.
