Radio World parent company NewBay Media recently announced the acquisition of Pro AV magazine from publisher Hanley Wood LLC.
NewBay said the acquisition is part of its efforts to become the top resource for AV professionals, as outlined by President/CEO Steve Palm. “The acquisition of Pro AV further strengthens our already robust offerings, expanding our substantial reach to the professional A/V community,” he said in a statement.
NewBay AV titles include Systems Contractor News, Sound & Video Contractor, AV Technology, Healthcare AV, Rental & Staging Systems, Digital Signage Magazine, TWICE, Residential Systems and a variety of tradeshow dailies. The acquisition increases NewBay’s AV professional readership to approximately 200,000.

NewBay is also parent to broadcast-related titles like Radio World, TV Technology, Radio magazine and Broadcasting & Cable.
