IHeartMedia’s Alan Jurison will detail some of HD Radio’s newest feature in an SBE webinar this week. The Wednesday, Feb. 4, event begins at 2 p.m. Eastern.
Jurison will explain features such as Artist Experience and data services transmitted using HD Radio as well as field evaluations of the potential benefits of elevated digital power.
HD Radio emergency alerts, HD Radio translators and implementation of HD Radio in the automotive space will also be covered. Most automotive manufacturers are now including HD Radio in their latest vehicles. “We will discuss the receivers that already supporting this technology to give background on what support is out there, and what is on the horizon,” says Jurison. He also contributes to Radio World, which is not involved in the webinar.
This presentation is intended to be both a high-level discussion for non-engineering managers along with a brief lower level technical discussion for engineers. Jurison will share tips to help ensure your stations offer the best experience for their listeners.
