NewRadio Group will buy WFHR(AM) and WGLX(FM) in Wisconsin Rapids, Wis., from Bliss Communications. It will run the stations under a time brokerage agreement until the FCC approves the sale.
Mary Quass is CEO of the buyer.
“NewRadio Group is already a part of this central Wisconsin market area through WDLB(AM) and WOSQ(FM) in Marshfield, and WLJY(FM) and WYTE(FM) in Stevens Point, and the addition of WFHR and WGLX is a logical fit.”
NewRadio will then own 26 stations in Wisconsin and Illinois.
