News Directors to Hold Convention in Conjunction with NAB

The Radio-TV News Directors Association has decided to hold its convention in conjunction with a much bigger show this year: the NAB.
RTNDA@NAB will take place April 8-10 at the Las Vegas Hilton. It will have its own identity, with a news pavilion of exhibits for news directors and other journalists and its own schedule of sessions.
“We realize this is a major change for our convention,” stated Dave Busiek, RTNDA chairman. “But the reality is that most industry conventions are partnering up in order to offer attendees more opportunities.”
RTNDA represents local and network news executives in broadcasting, cable and other electronic media.
