Ozen.fm Introduces Podcast Bot

Turns station programming into on-demand, monetizable podcasts

Supply Side is an occasional feature that introduces readers to companies or products with which they might not be familiar.

Podcast platform Ozen.fm has introduced a product called Podcast Bot.

“Broadcasters were always part of the audio story; they were not always part of the podcast-native monetization story,” it states. “Podcast Bot records your shows, edits automatically and spins up podcasts that keep earning long after you go off air.”

Seeking to learn more, we asked Chaim Gross. He is chief product officer of Zeno Media and Ozen.fm.

Radio World: Chaim, what are Zeno Media and Ozen.fm?

Chaim Gross

Chaim Gross: Zeno Media is a global online audio company that helps people listen to radio and spoken-word streams from around the world, with a particular focus on diaspora and multicultural audiences. Morris Berger is CEO. The Zeno platform reaches tens of millions of monthly listeners and carries programming from tens of thousands of stations across a very large set of countries.

Ozen.fm is a global podcast platform founded by Rodrigo Tigre, its CEO. It is a subsidiary of Zeno that focuses on podcasting and podcast monetization.

It connects creators, listeners and brands with curated inventory, multilingual targeting and programmatic monetization — on the order of 100,000+ podcasts and millions of monthly listeners across 100+ countries.

RW: Ozen.fm introduced a web product called Podcast Bot. What is its primary purpose?

Gross: Podcast Bot’s job is to turn programming a station already produces into on-demand, monetizable podcast inventory — automatically.

It records from the live stream, cleans the audio for rights-safe distribution, publishes to RSS (and into hosts like Megaphone, Omny and Acast), and keeps earning after the show leaves the transmitter. No new producer workflow required.

RW: Who is the target user of this tool, and how might radio entities use it?

Gross: Primary users are radio groups, station clusters and talk/spoken-word operators — GMs, digital leads and engineering/ops teams who already run a live stream and want on-demand listening plus new ad inventory without hiring a podcast staff.

Typical uses: schedule or jingle-trigger capture of daily shows; strip music and terrestrial ads for a clean on-demand version; insert programmatic or sponsor ads; spin interview segments into a dedicated feed; publish branded video and short clips; search a transcribed back catalog for sales and producers.

RW: What is the pricing model?

Gross: Podcast Bot is $199 per month and covers three podcasts. That includes three interview-extracted podcasts as well, plus everything in the product — capture and edit, search and video production.

Stations that need more feeds or a custom rollout can talk with us at [email protected] or start here.

RW: You told me you thought Radio World readers who work in engineering and operations would find its workflow interesting. What should they know about how it fits into the broadcast air chain?

Gross: It sits after the air chain, not inside it. You keep your existing automation, board and transmitter path. Podcast Bot takes the station’s live stream (or scheduled windows / jingle triggers), produces the on-demand episode offline, then hands clean audio to RSS and the hosts you already use.

Engineering does not rebuild the air chain; ops does not chase files. The on-demand version can carry a different ad load than terrestrial, which is the point for new revenue.

RW: You also told me that the bot is “more than AI podcasting.” What sets it apart?

Gross: This is not a tool for making AI content. The talent and the show are already great — Podcast Bot uses AI to get that real programming out to on-demand listeners without a new production staff.

It handles the messy distribution work: rights-safe music and terrestrial-ad cleanup so the on-demand file can carry fresh inventory; interview extraction into a separate feed from the same long show; branded video (16:9 and 9:16) with auto-YouTube and clips for Shorts/Reels/TikTok; searchable transcripts on the back catalog; and direct hooks into Megaphone, Omny and Acast so you are not ripping out a host. In short: your content, easier distribution.

RW: Can readers find a demo online?

Gross: Yes. A product overview is here. And App/signup is here. We’re happy to walk a station through a live demo of their own stream; contact [email protected].

RW: Readers may know Zeno as a provider of a mobile app to access streaming stations around the world. How is that going?

Gross: We continue to be the front door for listening to podcasts and radio, and we just had our best month ever in terms of listeners and radio stations signing up to use our streaming and podcasting services. We keep listening to what broadcasters, podcasters, and listeners want, and that guides our product lineup — including Podcast Bot on the station side.
