NextMedia Pays $14 Million for Three Eagles Station

NextMedia Group signed a deal to buy WCCQ(FM), serving Joliet, Ill. and suburban Chicago, from Three Eagles Communications for $14 million cash.
The transaction is expected to close in the first quarter of 2004, pending FCC approval. Following its close, NextMedia will own and operate four stations in the Joliet market.
