NextMedia Group Inc. has exchanged its outdoor advertising assets in New York City and Baltimore for outdoor advertising assets in Myrtle Beach, S.C.
The Myrtle Beach outdoor assets include 1,200 outdoor displays. The
transaction was effective Jan. 1. NextMedia owns four FMs and one AM in Myrtle Beach.
NextMedia President/CEO Steven Dinetz called the deal prudent.
“The transaction allows us to super-serve local, regional and national advertisers and strengthen our growth potential in the Carolinas. The combination of our 14 radio stations and 1,200 outdoor displays within a 150-mile radius marks our company’s opportunity to market a complete out of home advertising package.”
