NextRadio Cards Promote Interactivity

Average rate of 1.8% as compared to average display ad click through rates of 0.020%

A recent three-month test on two TagStation-licensed radio stations revealed a high level of brand exposure and interactivity cards enable within the NextRadio experience. The results of the test also support the hypothesis that consumers will scroll down in the app to see what additional content they can uncover.

The results showed that cards, which are used to promote station or advertiser initiatives and function much like a billboard by complementing the enhanced ads on the Now Playing screen, saw an average interactivity rate of 1.8% as compared to average display ad click through rates of 0.020%.

“We are excited to share these results with broadcasters, it starts to shape what stations can offer to their advertisers or can help with station promotions, app awareness and other messages they want to get to their listeners,” said NextRadio President Paul Brenner.
