A second waterproof NextRadio-enabled smartphone has hit store shelves as summer kicks into high gear.
In addition to FM radio, the Boost Mobile Kyocera Hydro Icon features a 4.5-inch touchscreen, a claimed 13.75 hours of talking time on one charge, three-way calling and is part of the Sprint network.
That brings to 17 the number of smartphone models on the market that come preloaded with the NextRadio FM app. The previous model was the Kyocera Hydro Vibe.
Emmis says there have been 500,000 downloads of the NextRadio app to-date and 9,300 FM stations tuned to through the app.
