NFCB Awards Celebrate Community Radio

The National Federation of Community Broadcasters is accepting entries for the 2004 Community Radio Program Awards until Nov. 7. The awards are open to programs broadcast on noncommercial community radio stations in the U.S. between Nov. 1, 2002 and Oct. 31, 2003. The awards recognize the best of community radio broadcasts, as well as honor station-based and independent productions that exemplify outstanding and creative use of radio. The awards will be presented at the 29th Annual Community Radio Conference in Albuquerque, N.M. April 21-24, 2004. For more information, including an application, go to www.nfcb.org.
