N.J. Museum Names Two

N.J. Museum Names Two

A group that hopes to open a museum about radio in the Garden State in 2003 has named two executives. Kevin Tekel becomes operations manager for central New Jersey. Al Gordon will serve as operations manager for the history of N.Y. stations that have transmission facilities in New Jersey. Project Manager Carl Van Orden made the announcements.
The New Jersey Radio Museum, under the auspices of the Dover Area Historical Society, plans to open its doors in a historic house in Dover, N.J. It is looking for funding and volunteers as well as historic information, photos and memorabilia relating to New Jersey radio. It also is searching for a vice president for the Philadelphia area and another to cover radio history. Information: send e-mail to [email protected].
