New Jersey broadcasters are reaching out – across the Hudson and Delaware Rivers, in fact.
The New Jersey Broadcasters Association says it plans to revise its bylaws to include one representative from Philadelphia and one from New York broadcast stations on its board.
The association represents 79 member stations in the Garden State, many of which are affected by their location between the first- and sixth-largest markets in the country.
“We recognize the need for broadcasters in New Jersey to have access to two of the largest and most vital communication markets on the East Coast and feel that adding a delegate from New York and Philadelphia can only help make the New Jersey broadcast community more effective,” the association’s president, Philip Roberts, stated.
The change will be decided on June 7.
