Republican senators have placed a hold blocking Jonathan Adelstein’s nomination as FCC commissioner from coming to a vote in the Senate Judiciary Committee. That’s in retaliation for the Democrats blocking two Republicans from seats on the federal bench. Senate Minority Leader Trent Lott, R-Miss., tells the Wall Street Journal it’s unlikely Adelstein’s nomination will pass before the 107th session of Congress ends.
