No Blues in Madison; Clinic Plans Are Set

October agenda set

The 2011 Broadcasters Clinic & Upper Midwest Regional Society of Broadcast Engineers Meeting is scheduled for Oct. 11–13 at the Madison Marriott West in Madison, Wis.

The agenda and show floor (PDF) are ambitious. Some dozen sessions are scheduled along with an SBE meeting. Radio and TV are covered.

Speakers will include Clear Channel’s Jeff Littlejohn, Shively’s Bob Surette, Nautel’s Jeff Welton, Tim Anderson of Harris, Cornelius Gould of Telos Systems, Doug Vernier of V-Soft and Tieline’s Mary Ann Seidler. Topics will cover the spectrum from radio processing to towers to transmitters to safety to broadband.

The list of exhibitors includes Belden, Broadcast Electronics, BGS, BSW, Clark Wire & Cable, Comrex, Continental Electronics, Digital Alert Systems, ENCO, ERI, Full Compass, Gepco, Gorman-Redlich, Harris, Jampro, Middle Atlantic, Nautel, RadioTraffic.com, RCS, SCMS, SPX/Dielectric, Tieline and WideOrbit. There will also be vendors more focused on TV as well.

In addition there are several planned sponsored lunches and afternoon events along with prizes.
