Nominations Requested for Country Radio Hall of Fame

Deadline to submit for 2014 class is Sept. 6

Country Radio Seminar has opened its nomination process for the 2014 Country Radio Hall of Fame.

After processing the nominations, Country Radio Seminar officials will then provide each nominee with an official application. The application must be returned to the CRS offices no later than Friday, Sept. 6, in order to be considered for induction in the 2014 class.

Nominees may include air-checks, press clippings, awards listings and other materials for consideration.

For the On-Air Personality Hall of Fame, nominees must have been on the air for 20 years, a minimum of 15 of which must have been in the country format. Nominees must also have and continue to contribute to the industry’s growth and development and promote “Country music as an art form.”

To be inducted into the Radio Hall of Fame, the same qualifications must be met.

A selection committee of country radio and industry figures, as well as current members of the Country Radio Hall of Fame selects each year’s inductees.

The 2014 Country Radio Hall of Fame Dinner and induction ceremony will be held Feb. 18, 2014, at the Nashville Convention Center.
