Nominees Set for Thursday Senate Appearance

Members of the Senate Commerce Committee will hear statements from four Administration nominees this Thursday. Democrat Jonathan Adelstein is on the list. The White House recently gave the nod to Adelstein’s re-nomination as an FCC commissioner for a full five-year term. Adelstein was originally named to the post to fill out the remainder of Gloria Tristani’s term when she left the commission to run for Congress. The nominees need Senate confrmation of their appointments.
