Nov. 14 Is Date for Ohio Broadcast Engineering Conference

John Bisset will talk about RF troubleshooting techniques as part of the upcoming Ohio Broadcast Engineering Conference.
It’s the third year for this event, which is aimed at radio and TV engineers. The conference is presented by the Ohio Association of Broadcasters, SBE Chapter 70 and the Ohio chapter of SMPTE. This year it’s to be held at the Marriott Hotel in Columbus.
Also on the agenda of interest to radio are presentations by Terry Baun on transmitter site safety, Comrex on its BRIC and IP audio delivery and a session on disaster preparation and EAS.
Two dozen companies are registered to exhibit including Broadcast Connection, Broadcast Electronics, Broadcasters General Store, Continental, Dielectric, ERI, ENCO Systems, Harris, Nucomm, Radio Systems, Staco Energy, Stainless and Telos/Omnia.
