Novra Technologies has announced that the shareholders for program distribution equipment maker International Datacasting have voted to approve the merger between the two companies.
In a public letter, Novra President and CEO Harris Liontas said, “I have been a fan of IDC for many years and my vision for the Novra Group of companies is to continue serving the important legacy niche markets where we have been successful, and rebuild our market leadership in new, emerging applications.”
Lintas said that IDC will become a subsidiary of Novra, though continue to operate much as it had before. Novra also owns another satellite and broadcast infrastructure equipment company, Wegener Communications.
