Three recent graduates have joined NPR News as the 2007-08 Joan B. Kroc Fellows.

The fellowship, now in its third year, identifies three graduates each year and trains them in a year-long program at NPR and NPR member stations.

The fellows are Shomial Ahmad of Fort Worth, Texas, and a graduate of The University of Texas and NYU; Jenny Gold, a Berkeley, Calif., native and Brown graduate; and Bilal Qureshi of suburban Richmond, Va., and a graduate of UVA and the Columbia University Graduate School of Journalism.

Each will work alongside NPR News broadcast and digital media reporters, producers and editors.
